I've noticed a lot of fics tend to portray him as the 'younger brother' character (which, I have to admit, I don't understand at all). But it was a nice touch, because you put it in with careful moderation. d^.^b Ooh... Maccus steps in. I've always thought he was funky. :) sly grin Foreshadowing a future pairing...? Ha ha... And groin shot! Sort of like: The Caribbean's Funniest Home Movies... (can you tell what I just watched? ^.^) I was amused by that. Very good. Keep writing, I'll keep reading. soupie ~.^

I do believe this one is worth pursuing, 100% I'm gratified you took the previous comment on chapter length to mind without offense. :) And this one was good. Nice work. Everybody seems well enough in character, which is pleasing to discover and delightful to read. I liked the way you described the ship. Not too elaborate or with a great amount of detail, but with the tone and right words that send images straight to the mind. I imagine that even if I hadn't seen the second movie, I'd have a fairly accurate vision of what the dreaded ship would look like from the way you said. d^.^b Looking quite forward to the next installment. soupkitchen 2007-02-14 ch 3,	abuseAh... so it IS a 'girl on flying dutchman' fic... I thought as much. ;) Well, so far I'm loving it. Characterization is good, and though the chapters are a wee bit short, what the readers get is good quality writing. Very well done. I hope that Brandi does not become a Mary-Sue, because the fic so far is too good to give up. Happy Valentines Day! Keep writing, I'll keep reading. soupie ~.^

More about the crew and the Captain, and a little dollop of mystery... me likie ;) (as opposed to the girl on flying dutchman fics, which also sustain my existence...) Can't wait to see what the surprise is, though Tortuga was the last thing I expected to come from our dear squidy Captain's mouth. Teehee, I really like the way you've portrayed the crew, especially Hadras and Koleniko and Clanker (well, all them, actually!) And I'm not just revieweing for the cybercookies.
