Oops. It looks like Severus really walked into that one. Not very Slytherin of him. Still, just because he can't tell anyone doesn't mean he can't extract a bit of vengance. I'd go for Bella since she's the one who tried to kill Lily and then let Narcissa and Regulus sweat it out wondering when he's going to come afer them. I'm surprised Remus is still paling around with Sirius. Doesn't he care that his good friend tried to use him to kill someone else? Looking forward to the next chapter.

I've been checking this storie for updates since your last update (though I knew you said it wouldnt be till today, I thought it was too long to wait and I hoped you'd update sooner). When I came on and saw that there were TWO chapters. I was thrilled. Then I saw the next update would be wednseday (just two more days!) and maybe two chapters then too! So yea just thought I'd let you know you made my day and as I'm sure you can guess I love this story. Keep up the good work!

I always love reading different versions of the Shrieking Shack incident and how they played out. It's nice to see how Snape was willing to be reasonable about Remus and it makes it easier to understand how Snape was willing to go to Dumbledore when he realized he had made a mistake in joining Voldemort. I think what I've never understood is why Remus ever forgave Sirius for that prank. It could have put him into so much trouble. Speaking of trouble, why did Regulus want to speak to Snape? He seemed quite nervous and I suspect he, and Narcissa, had something to do with Lily's poisoning. Perhaps their prank went beyond what they thought? How will Lily react when she regains consciouness? Will James' act of heroism combined with Snape's insecurities be enough to turn her from Severus to James? I hope not, I think I would think less of her if that happened. LOL, notice I'm still hoping for a Severus/Lily ending. ;-)
