You never really connect the souls that Kikyou takes as real people who had real lives. You know they're souls...but... it gives a whole new perspective when you see the story behind it and the horror that comes with it.

Really lovely. I adore shinidamachuu-fic in all its forms, but this one in particular is wonderfully layered. The unfairness of life, the unfairness of death, and Kikyou's terrible, selfish power; all in one drabble. Your pacing and imagery here are amazing. Well done!
