Beautifully written, there is sort of a lingering silence in this story, where unspoken words are eloquent.

Now for your feedback. This is definitely a realistic look at what could happen if neither of the girls was brave enough to reach out to the other and be honest with her feelings. They are close, but want to be closer. Accurate to the point of a "slice of life" feeling. It flows very smoothly, like most of your works! (as far as I can remember)

the relationship between mireille and kirika is so different from the conventional pairing on tv, with the characters so alien, it's really hard to find stories that are in character. loved the little details involving their habits, such as their tendencies to wake at the slightest sound.

Ahh Lee, it's SO good to have you back. Your Noir fics always are my faves. But blast it all, you've gone and made this so short! Hopefully a longer one is in the works, yes?

This made me a little sad, because I think, for all that I would love for them to be romantically involved with each other (because it just makes sense that way), this is probably what would really happen. Their relationship is so unconventional, "lovers" wouldn't even begin to cover it. Anyway, beautiful story, and like the series itself, so specific with the details. You're one of my favorite authors. =)
