I loved this fanfic, evil Willow is amazing!

Totally awesome! Loved this story, loved the first one, you write Anya so wonderfully! She is the best character of the buffyverse and I always enjoy a writer to gets her down perfectly.

Okay, Jason. Here we go:

Especailly considering two points. One, her original religion involved the destruction of bodies, especially the warriors and she died in battle."

Being money hungry doesn't automatically mean being cheap, and even if it did, it wouldn't be her money being spent on the funeral. And she hadn't been one of "her people" in more than one thousand years. She was one of us, and we do funerals.

"Secondly, she was in the high school which was the first building to fall into the sinkhole. The rest of the town fell in after it. There should probably less left of her body to recover than the victims in 9/11 to use an unpleasent example, but the only one I can think of which involved something collapsing in on itself."

The WTC was incinerated from within before it collapsed and there were still survivors stranded in some parts of the buildings. Sunnydale High was smaller, lighter and only collapsed in the subsidence effect of the Hellmouth's destruction. There's absolutely no reason not to believe that more damage was done to Anya's body by the swordslash that killed her than by the building falling on top of it.

"If Willow is as key as they say in Willowcoven, then shouldn't she be able to just strip away Bad Willow's armies power. At the very least bind them to their home universes."

They are already bound to their home universes, since only the top witches in the organization can open portals between them. And Willow is going to need some of those armies to enforce the changes she's going to make, so just depowering them would be counterproductive.

"If Anya has some sort of wishgranting ability currently why not just wish Willowcoven?"

Because the wishes the Novitiate pendants grant have to be, as Anya told Willow, simple wishes. A wish that would reverse everything that Bad Willow had done would be far from simple.

“Okay, so all of this stuff where you were getting married and you had us locked up and you had your stalker bring shiploads of witches to our reality was all part of your nefarious - yet beautiful - scheme to bring down Big Bad Willow?”

Xander could not have said it better myself. Beautiful indeed. We really only saw snippets of this Anya in the Whedonverse,which was a shame and what they did with the progression of her character arc could not compare with what you did with this Anya. Look at me... I'm still swooning.

And of course Cordelia... words could not describe my love affair with this one, but a few words almost nail it on the head:
“Been haunted before, by an old hag that, like you , didn’t know when to let go! Believe me…the day comes when I see your scrawny little ectoplasm near me, you’ll be calling the Ghostbusters to get them to save you from me!”

Double swoon with a side of faint.

Heck, I've even had a small fondness for the Summers sisters interaction. The cute, sassy, and kind of bitchy dialogue always puts a smile to my face.
“Slave, huh?” Dawn says, then both girls turn to look at Buffy.
“What?” Buffy says.

I don't know what compelled you to continue on from Witching Anya but whatever it was... your mojo was spot on! I think I might read this again...

So totally Anya:

Anya regards her curiously for a moment, then laughs. Her laughter fills the room as if it were a concert hall. “Oh, Dawnie,” she says when she recovers, “so powerful, and yet so naïve. Don’t you understand? Willow and I were married, and you know how these Community Property things work. If the couple gets divorced without an active pre-nup, all the assets are divided equally. And, if one spouse dies without a written will” - she grins evilly - “the other spouse gets everything.”

“Oh, I know that look,” she says. “That’s the look that means the Cordelia Chase of this reality is” - she makes a slashing motion across her throat - “k, right?” I nod dumbly. She sighs and says, “Well, I guess that means I’ll just have to be twice as beautiful to make up the difference.”

That was exquisite! Cordelia has always been fantabulous!

Could it be...? *rubs eyes and opens them wider then thought possible* Holy Toledo, Batman... It IS true! An update from the Witching Anya Universe? I got half way through the chapter when I was overwhelmed with giddiness that I had to review immediately. (Got to the 'Independence Day' line BTW). I love love LOVE this universe that you created, but you already knew that since I've already bowed before you and kissed your feet in adoration when I commented on Witching Anya.

Too much? I know I have no self control. But now I will finish reading this chapter.

A few thoughts on this last chapter.

Very nice yummy exposition and a somewhat open ended conclusion too. Looks like the fun is just going to keep on going for those girls...There's definately lots more to explore in this twisted BtVS universe that you've created. I'd love to see that kick ass Tara again. *hint-hint*

wow! I think every fanfic writer should commission you to at least do one fight scene for them! that's a wonderful story, is it over? it's great nevertheless

Hopefully Anya sends Willow home. Hell maybe with all this power at Anya's disposal she can get rid of that crappy universe and all the trouble it causes.

Whoa! Now THAT was a doozy of a chapter! Great descriptive graphic action between Tara and Bad Willow and I absolutely loved how evil Dawn got shafted by Anya. But it seems there's more to Anya than meets the eye now...Can't wait for the next chapter! Hopefully with lots of lovely tea and exposition.

Wow. That chapter was just *incredible.* I loved all the action, your description of the battle and the way Anya looked when she absorbed Willow's power. Just. Wow!

This is a really great story. It's cool that you wrote a sequel and I can't wait to see what Anya's *real* endgame is.
