This is a decent poem. It made me think of one of my favorite fanfics from the R/S Games, Dancing with Wolves.
One bit of advise, don't denigrade your own work. Especially while asking them to go to another site to read more of it!

Pretty good poem. My favourite part was "I heard you whisper things in my ear when you thought I was asleep."
