The attempt was successful: this Havok has some Corwin flare and especially I like the ease with which you make him live, that's a very Amber-like feature. Bringing Osric back is also a really cool idea, and in general a very original fic while in keeping with the general world Zelazny created.

I can't wait to see where this goes and I dunno why no one else seems inclined to comment. Anyway this is a lot more like Amber than those prequel books someone wrote, a really excellent piece!
