this is short, but it holds so much meaning! I didn't get it at first when I read it, but I read two more times and then it all clicked- it's when Byakuya and Renji have to go bring Rukia back, don't they? Anyways, I thought both Renji and Byakuya were really in character. Great job :D

I don't think the other reviewers are stupid... I was a little confused at the end, too. But when I read what the previous reviewer just said, I was like, "Oh!"

The story is great; I really love it! XD Just maybe add a little something... a sub-title...? to clue the (not so swift) reader in on what's going on.

Nevertheless, I thought it was very intriguing. I liked the ByaRen interaction in this chapter. Both felt very in character. Good job on that.

This is a good start, did you mean to mark it as complete and just leave it up to the reader what happened?
