The Magic Pocket Turtle 2008-06-27 ch 5,	abuseWell, it’s good to know that you haven’t abandoned the story entirely, even if you’ve been a bit slack in updating. Can’t blame ya, it’s a common malady on this site, isn’t it? So… Not bad, I must say. Corinne doesn’t appear to be a Mary-Sue, which I think for this kind of a story is a much higher hazard than most. The story’s progressing a little slowly, but hey, it is how it is. You have pretty good grammar, and you’re very good at both emotional and physical description- it doesn’t seem forced. I suppose all you really need to work on is developing your style, but that’s a given with writing. Consider updating when you get a chance, ‘cause I don’t think we’re within spitting range of the plot yet. And, P.S.: Unicorns. What a spiffy concept.

Oh, and no worries about Randall's reptilianness. :) I just felt compelled to throw that bit of detail out there.

SylverStrike 2007-05-13 ch 4,	abuseNice developments. I like how Corinne has developed; her personality is pretty unique, and I like her for it. Your Randall has improved too, though a part of me still feels that he needs to be a little more stressy. But I guess he's keeping his cool for a reason- I'm curious as to why he's got Corinne with him, but I'll guess I'll have to wait for a later chapter to find out! Anyway, this story seems to be developing nicely.
Random Drifter 2007-05-03 ch 4, anon.	abuseWow, an update! I was beginning to lose hope in that it'd ever be picked up again. Glad to see that you keep at it! One thing though. I really don't think Randall is cold-blooded or similiar to the reptiles from our world, other than his physical traits. I'm pointing this out because in the movie, he didn't appear to be too bothered by the blast of freezing wind and snow as he opened the door leading to the Himalayas. I'm no expert on reptiles, but I know they don't go hand in hand with cold weather. That being said, I don't see any reason why he should have a home suited for reptilian needs. Again, this is just constructive criticism! I'm very glad Corinne finally showed some emotion and the fear so many of us would have shown in explosive tantrums LONG ago. So she's human after all. ;) I'm very interested to know more about her and her family life. I still want to know what possessed Randall to want to keep her. Hope the next update comes sometime soon!

Randall kind of did seem a little OOC in the last chapter, but other than that you've got his character down.I also like Corrine and how she knew that panicking was pointless. Hope you update soon!

Poor Corrine... How's Randall going to handle explaining things to an emotionally problematic teen when he doesn't understand why he did it himself? P.S. Is there gonna be any Randallangst? It's just that I adore it.
