Thank you for writing this! I'm a fairly new House viewer, and I just saw this episode. I was SO upset when Cuddy caved at the end; it seemed to be a stretch of even her guilt. Thank you for rectifying that disconnect for me!

This is exactly how I wished the episode had ended. I'm so with you; Cuddy is much stronger than that and don't the writers get that the guilt thing has worn thin. I loved the way House blackmailed Chen, reminds me of one of my fave eps 'The Mistake' so we definitely know House has it in him.

I LOVED IT SO MUCH! especually the last line or two and the part with him just like sing her as a cane with out asking!1 that was so cute and a much much much better ending then they had in the real episode! bravo!

i agree with you 100% i swear the writers are thinking this-

'damn! we forgot all about cuddy because house was busy with the paitent...what to do? we can't figure an ending! we could do a gogle search...nah,wait what did we do in old episodes...GUILT!God i love that word,where'd we be without the guilt?house would get away with less,cuddy would seem so much better,house and cuddy could have something,screw it i'm tired.'
