Oh, Peter... :(

I cheered. I really did.
It is five in the morning- way later than i should be awake- but I was totally animated with this last chapter. I shook my fist at Sirius, and bolted upright when Peter had to make the choice to tell the truth or not.
And when he decided HE was the one to say something, I confess that i threw my hands in the air and let out the same dry sob of joy that excapes my mouth when I see Jim and Pam do something particularly sweet on The Office.
I've reviewed you stalkerishly tonight, I know, but this story makes me unashamed to confess my love for you.
Thank you so, so very much for making Peter the hero. I never realized how much I secretly wanted him to be the brave one.

forgot to add, what i especially like about this story is that lily goes for james over another guy who's perfect. i get annoyed by stories in which lily finally likes james when her boyfriend cheats on her something. it's hardly true love if the choice is between a total jerk and james.

I didn't think I would ever read a story that I would be able to like Peter, even when he is a good guy (for the most part I consider him neutral tending to dislike with Snape as company)

i love the fact that peter is an actual person in this fic, not just some deadbeat leech

Oh my God. This was so intensely EPIC. I never would've guessed that it all would've come back to Peter. This is - argh! I love it!

I mean, not only do you have an amazing ability to write drama and romance - seriously, it was SO awe-invoking throughout the entire storyline, and I'm not exaggerating a bit - but this is just excellent because it does Peter the honor of making HIM the turning point in the storyline, and for once HE bears the weight of the plot.

How amazingly cool. So many people fail to do Peter justice, and you have turned around and made this unbelievably perfect. And the last line was perfect (it turns around the theme you had going, which was excellent).

Seriously, this was very worthwhile. Thanks for a great read. :)

I can't tell you how awesome this is (well, I guess theoretically I could). The emotion in every scene is just so vivid and strong; reading this makes me feel like I'm actually living it. You're a brilliant, brilliant author.

And of course... I'm just sucking up the drama. I find that good dramatic pieces get overlooked, a lot, but yours are so enjoyable and realistic. I commend you. :)

I think I especially like Remus's point of view because it's quite objective, so it helps me understand the other characters a little bit more.

But the whole situation is quite depressing... I want James and Lily to fall in love, naturally, but I feel badly for Stephen.

Aw. This is positively depressing. Poor Stephen is definitely not the usual "fanfiction boyfriend" that authors throw in as plot devices... he actually has a personality and motives, which I like. :D Seriously, I actually enjoy his character, which makes me quite sad for him.

But the end is so true. It's definitely in human nature to simply cling and hope things will get better.

This is so absolutely heart-wrenching... the hate and love James is feeling is so realistic and so amazing to relate to. Especially the ending, because he knows he can't confess to her and give his all, because that would be setting himself up for ultimate disappointment. It's extremely moving.

I really, really like this story. I can barely express to you how wonderful it is.
