Cassie Studios 2/17/07 . chapter 1Beautiful, but I have one objection.
What do you mean "save the baby"? Of course save Riza! Why would Roy sacrifice the life of his beloved ex-lieutenant just to have a baby? I don't understand... and I don't approve of it.
Enough of my complaining. Still, i like the fic. |
Dailenna 2/14/07 . chapter 1Aww, that's a sad little piece of writing! It's different from the usual Valentine's Day writing, I'll give you that ;)
It's a good piece, but I think that one way of improving it would be to hold some information back until a little later, so the reader is unsure of what exactly is going on. That usually makes for a bit more of an in-depth read.
Good work! And thanks for entering it in the competition :D |
Legendary Chimera 2/13/07 . chapter 1Hey, no fair making me want to cry! I loved the ending, especially the remark about a good son. Nice job, and good luck! |

jacksparrow589 2/12/07 . chapter 1Sad! This, of course, is being read when one of my teachers will be having her baby in a few days, so now I'm a little worked up. It did have a happy ending, though, and I thought that that was nice.
There was one small grammar thing that's probably a preference matter, so I won't get into it.
All in all, I like this one. |
OTP 2/12/07 . chapter 1aw nice job on this |
Lili 2/12/07 . chapter 1 I have to say that I didn't really like the beginning: How could you ever think that a husband could sacrifice his wife over his future baby, especially if the baby is three months early, considering that even with today's state of the science these babies hardly stand any chance to survive...
But then I really liked the story, it is original, and I really love the name you chose for their daughter: 'Royalle Mae', it is very clever! I also loved the reference to Ed and Al as a kind of sons.
So,congrat' But please, next time don't make of Roy what he is not: a man who would follow his wife's wish to sacrifice herself, because this is what is so good about his character: he'd do all he can to protect his loved ones...especially contradict them! |
Tetra935 2/12/07 . chapter 1 It's so sad but I can't help but feel happy for some odd reason. O-o I'm Tetra-san from the Roiai Forums and I love your story good work! |
