Oh God. That was intense and *so* powerful. And honestly, ever since I saw Mike as Owen in ReGenesis, it's been easy for me to imagine him in these twisted fics. And I really *do* love twisted fics. I lovelovelove how you sketched out his character, it's absolutely amazing. The whole back story with the James Bond car and then the metaphors with Casey as the car in the scenario. Amazing, to have filled all that in such short a space. You, my friend, are *way* talented!
And honestly, Almost-Evil!Derek is kinda hot. He's mean and selfish but somehow he oozes that raw sexualtiy which is what helps him to "break" whatever he cannot have.
And also, I really liked the Casey/Derek dynamic in this. It was wonderful and extremely well written. I liked how he went back after "breaking" her because he'd managed to "get what he wanted" and that appeased his hunger.
And also really loved how, even though he's broken her, he's not really able to leave her, is he. He might say that's it's over, but he still takes her, and that definitely means she's not out of his system at all, and might never be.
Whoa! That was some intense psycho-analysis right there, but I really adore dark! Dasey and Dizzie fics.

Even though this story is classified as "dark", I actually enjoyed it. Its a different spin and your analogy was very good. I'm glad you didn't go with the fluffy ending...I would have felt let down considering the tone of the story. It worked well. Thanks for the story!
