really sweet and lovely story

This was so unconventionally sweet, and with so much squeezed in between the lines - I like how you got Emma's sharpness and hardness and that sort of offhand humanity and need for affection, in a very oblique way, she has. I actually really like Scott/Emma in the first place, which helps, but this works as a character study even more than a romance, and I *really* like that. Good fic!

its always nice to read a fic about what's going on in emma's head. there's so few stories where she's actually written as a character and not just a one sided stereotype, so needless to say i enjoyed this.
