::mixed emotions:: is there any deceptive spell snape could be using? he's killing too many people! my confidence in him is lost! this is worse than book 6 or 7! great! just great; hermione's the dead woman. or can she be the man on fire? she did burst into ashes.

Yay, Crooks! Brilliant chapter, great battle, amusing coda. I'm glad all the Horcruxes are gone, and sorrow that Tom was destroyed too soon. That was neat about Peter helping Remus, though--Marauders stick together to the end.

The only thing I've had a problem with thus far was Harry's attitude towards the beginning. I felt it was rather out of canon, unless that's what you meant to do.
But besides that, well written. :)

Go Crooks! Really, the whole chapter was incredible, but you crammed so much story into that epilogue, and all from a cat's perspective. That's talent.

I was completely enthralled by this chapter! It was beautiful, lyrical, and gritty. The threads you've been weaving with Sun Tzu and the rest of the story came together harmoniously in the most ingenious way I've ever seen to become magical and be the demise of Voldemort. The epilogue in the pov of Crookshanks is quizzical and unexpected, but also very telling and original. Together, the philosophy and the action came together in your writing to create a chapter- and and story- that is equally thought-provoking and sense-gripping. I can't wait for part 3!!
