No, you didn't get too fluffy at the end. I loved this story and its prequel. Shawn is an awesome character. Too many times he is taken over the top and too soft. I think you handled all of them very well. And yes, Hunter is protective enough, not just of Shawn but of a few other people who are very close to him, to follow them around if he thinks they are in danger.

Aw i loved this story it was very well written and sweet, it was ashame though Shawn's still having nightmares after the crash. Luckily Hunter was there to comfort him.
