I wonder if there is something with the rings then that only a true Guardian can do? I wonder if the rings some how link the brotherhood together and a true Guardian can channel the combined power of the Brotherhood to the Scholar or Knight in times of greatest need?

That would SO fit Dean who’s been holding and linking things together his whole life. If Caleb is the Knight and Sam’s the bishop that would leave Dean either the Rook or the Queen on the board.

I love the fact Dean doesn’t have a clue he’s the next Guardian and he has no idea how important he is in the scheme of things. I love Caleb’s frustration about the fact too.

All the stuff on the show is leading up to a point where Sam's going to be standing on the edge of something he thinks he can't come back from. I fully believe that what will draw him back from the edge and keep him from going over is Dean's forgiveness. When I saw that in the story, "I forgive you" I just sat there at my desk, shook my head grinning and said, "Yes, that's it. She got it." Awesome.

It's so awsome how you get your story line to fit so neatly with the episodes. Keep up the great work. I like this story alot. Caleb is cool and I love how he puts Dean slightly above Sam. The three of them make a good team. They say the triangle is the most steady base shape you can have for any foundation. Squares and circles tip over before triangles do...

Woohoo for the Brotherhood stories! I was so glad that Dean went after those guys that attacked Caleb and got his ring back. But then to find out that the guy Sam killed when he was possessed was one of the dudes in on it. I was like Holy **! I was surprised to see Missouri pop up and like normal she was snarky with Dean. Just the way I like her! HAHAHA

Sam is the next Scholar. Its only fitting. I'm glad Dean found out about it. And Dean not knowing he's the Guardian. Its better he doesn't know for now tho! He doesn't need anything else on his plate the same way Sam doesn't need to know he's the next Scholar!

Whoo hoo!! At least one of them finally knows! I'm always so thrown back at the way that you just seemlessly weave this universe into the cannon verse, especially since you guys have to take cannon episode by episode.

Absolutely brilliant loved it. It would be so like Dean to go after Caleb's attackers to return his ring. This is my first review but have loved The Brotherhood stories, really looking forward to the next chapter of Wings of the Phoenix.

I am so bad about replying, but I have to say, I love your stuff, and check several weeks to see if you have added anything new! This is an awesome storyline, and I love the whole Brotherhood thing. It's nice to see the boys getting some back up, since they are so isolated on the show. And I'm so glad that Dean discovered that Sam is the next Scholar. That being said...WHEN THE HECK IS DEAN GOING TO FIND OUT HE'S THE NEXT GUARDIAN?? Argh, this kills me dead, LOL, reading all of these things Dean says about the next Guardian, etc., and him never knowing it's him. I tend to think he will freak out over it, since his self-esteem is so low and he won't think himself worthy of the job. And it kind of makes me sad that he can hear Sam is the next Scholar and not even figure out he is the next Guardian, even though every other character who heard Sam was the next Scholar immediately guessed Dean was the next Guardian. Seriously, I can't wait for Dean to find out!
