I read this twice to fully understand it. I was gasping through the entire thing. I like the disjointed feeling you created. It's quite shocking to read. You did a great job.

It brings out the horrors of war, making them fresh for someone who's never experianced it firsthand. Ya'know?

Me too! I find it throws flamers off. Plus, it connects you with your reader.

That was fantastic! Really quite shocking, especially the ending ... I think the sort of disjointed feeling in this story added to that, and I liked it. I actually got this story ... I can see how it would be confusing, but I got it nonetheless.

Did you have a particular POV in mind as you were writing this, or did you imagine it as coming from anybody, just a random Healer?

this confused me. what is the significance of the blank look? who is the healer? when is this set? how come she saw the red shoes? and furthemore... why?
