Wow, I really, really like this. My favorite thing is the characterization. I love how your Lily secretly enjoys James' attention and feels lost without it--how, even though she claims to want nothing to do with him, she is obsessively aware of all of his antics; her friends rightly interpret her rantings, but she is reluctant to admit her true feelings to herself. I suppose that's the way I envision Lily, so it's particularly easy for me to buy into it. I love this story, though--you did a fantastic job writing it.

That is the sweetest story I've ever read! Lily and James were both in perfect character and I enjoyed every minute of it. The ending was beautiful as well :) I'm definitely adding this one to my faves.
