I'll admit, when I first saw the crossover in the summary, I didn't think it could possibly work, but with 10+ reviews, there had to be something going on. And this story is excellent; a great mix of both universes. Your character portrayal is spot on. Kara... what a mess she is... :) I can't wait for your next update!
MP brennan 2008-07-04 ch 1,	abuseI'll admit, when I saw "crossover" my first instinct was "No f**kin' way that's gonna work." So, imagine my surprise to find myself three days and 57 chapters later completely hooked. You did an excellent job with all the characters, especially in the ways they relate to other characters. You were honest about their faults as well as their strengths. This story convincingly shows how outsiders might view the Galactica, and the political and religious undertones mirror the tone of the show quite nicely. I'm only a casual fan of TNG, but those characters also seemed spot on, and enough of their mythology was explained that I didn't feel lost in the Federation-centric chapters. Overall, this is an excellent story that deserves a great conclusion. I'll be on the edge of my seat.
Ana Sedai 2008-07-03 ch 57,	abuseOh, Gods. Of all the times and all the places she could pick to go bat-sht crazy, Kara picks the ones that are guaranteed to frak things up the most. Typical. Romulan raiding parties on board, ship unable to jump, crewmen getting shot, and she decides to try and satisfy some petty vendetta. If I weren't so disgusted by her, I might actually feel a bit sorry for her losing her mind like this. As it is, at this point I'm just hoping one of the Romulans survived and is getting ready to shoot her in the back. I simply can't take any more of her btchy attitude and her whacko issues and her insane religious convictions. Sophia should've damaged her enough to land her in the sickbay. At least there she wouldn't be able to do as much harm. Please please please tell me that someone eventually gives Kara what's coming to her?

JovianJeff 2008-07-03 ch 57,	abuseWow! What a cliffhanger! This certainly is a very good reason for the FTL to not work yet. Great use of tension surrounding it and great byplay with Shivar, practically could feel the oil oozing off of him. Thank you for continuing this series!

The Breeze 2008-07-03 ch 57,	abuseVery mixed feelings upon reading this... The chapter, of course, is great...but I get a feeling that we're drawing to a conclusion, and this is one of my favorite BSG stories. Every time I see there's an update to this, I think it's just great. I wish to God that Ron Moore would read this. You capture the best of BSG, and Trek, perfectly. There's good Trek and bad Trek, with the latter being most prevalent, but this story is good Trek. I really, really hope that Kara has her sidearm out because she wants to frak up some alien ** and she wants to mess with Gaeta's mind a bit - I really hope that your Kara is not dumb enough to actually try to do Gaeta in. I also like Picard's thoughts about the "hell pit" the Romulans have beamed into. It shows that he understands that their ships may be not as technologically advanced, he also realizes the Colonials have been fighting with small group tactics for a very long time and are not about to let a bunch of thieving aliens mess up the last step of their journey to Earth. That thought shows respect for the Colonials, which would be a very Picard trait - looking for the best in the cultures he encounters. -Steve
