This is a satisfying conclusion to the story. The part about humans evolving in such a short time is a bit odd, but I'll take that as social evolution. All in all, good stuff! Be proud.

Wow, this was one powerful chapter, emotionally speaking. I was very glad to see everyone was more or less okay, and that they could regroup. It's great how the girls always try to keep thinking positive, sure that they'll prevail and everything will be all right. Serenity needs that.

That scene with the mob coming to burn down the palace greatly reminded me of images and moments of the French Revolution.

Well, I understand that Setsuna was only protecting Small Lady and everything, but couldn't they just bring back in time a grown-up, crystal-wielding Chibi-Usa? Like it happened in The Last Moments of Pharaoh 90 with Serenity II? I can only think that since Chibi-Usa wasn't needed, they'll manage on their own.

I loved the phrase "a city commiting suicide" in that scene with Sosuke and Serenity, which, by the way, I also loved because she was very sincere and didn't try to sugar-coat things for his sake. She said they'd all do their best to keep everyone safe, yet she didn't make promises she might not be able to keep.

And about the last scene, it wasn't quite a hug, but it was a great moment between Rei and Serenity. ;)

Aww, I knew that scene would be touching! Rei handled things just beautifully and as I expected her to. There's so much angst surrounding her, sometimes I wish she could just get some respite. Someone needs to give her a hug!

Dear Lord, I hope Serenity and Endymion are okay, and that the others can find them soon. Her 'conversation' with Death Phantom was very interesting. It served to see how deranged he is, and yet how surprisingly his reasoning makes sense, sort of.

And... what happened? Wasn't V-chan just ready to go out in style and brazen glory in a kamikaze-esque stunt? Not that I actually wish for her to do something like that, I'm just wondering what made her beat a hasty retreat and leave the fight for another time. Mercury probably made her see the light, I'll bet.

Once again, a very nice chapter, starting with a slower pace to let us-and the Senshi-catch our breaths. Good to know little Yoko survived even if not unscathed. Poor Rei, it must be hell staying back when the others are out there fighting. Still waiting to see what will happen to her and Sosuke...

You know, I love Ami-chan. I don't know why I never mentioned it before, and felt the need to do it just now, but she's just so cool!

The scenario you painted for Kanzaki district was simply chilling. It's very disturbing to see Paradise crumbling so fast. And another exciting battle! I never get tired of V-chan's quips, really. And Serenity comes to the rescue...

Very good suspense and still quirky at the same time. Venus making a quip about Death Phantom’s diet after her attack phrase? Classic. I really can’t wait to see where you take your interpretation of Death Phantom and those events. Will this turn into an epic like your Ascension Trilogy?
