Very believable too, Yugi's crazed obsession for his chocolate (little suprised he got away with it all)and then I knew he was gonnaa take it straight from his mouth, but geez this whole thing was brilliant descriptive and expressive and Marik's thoughts/POV was the best! Both very much in character.
And that line where 'he never imagined ever kissing Yugi' and the where he shouts that it was just getting good...lol too funny XD
Plus the real smile, thoughts of payback, prized possession (you know all these alterior motives makes it feel more real in terms of YGO verse..like if the creators could PLEASE be so inclined this would HAPPEN). Also really liked this:
"Damn that vessel and his pacifying nature! Marik hissed. I can’t believe I’m being so easily manipulated! I can’t let my guard down, not for a second! It seemed little Yugi’s sweetness was just as lethal as the Pharaoh’s God cards."
HA I love that paragraph XP and its feels so true you know...the yami's may have shadow magic and strength etc etc but little Yugi's got the best weapon of all 'Pacification at will' or whatever you want to call it...nevermind what silly way Ive named it...just came off the top of me head lol o_O;
Plus the writing all flows neatly together, and can ya just imagine Marik looking like a cold red drenched urr well rat I suppose...?
There should so be a sequel to this! Like an aftermath bit, I bet it would be funny to see Yugi's reaction upon waking (he should remember it lol) and whoever (say Yami) finds him and then maybe a little extra involving a few days or something later where they end up bumping into one another...alone or with others...lol that'd be wicked.
Still though LOVED this one. One of fav pairings and while odd this one is done particularly well *^__^*

Loved it! Only because fics with this pairing are so hard to find,and I have to save this for the next time I in a Marik/Yugi mood. Um, the only way I could think of doing that is by pushing that little fav button. And, you know what might go well with this? A sequel. I'll admit, I'm not usually a fan of fics that use the puppy eyes or sugar-high crazies (XD) but I had to put aside my bias for this, and I was not disappointed (as usual).

I'M IN LOVE WITH MARIK'S POV! XD He swore so much... but he was just so great in your hands, really. Write him more often. XP

It was very cute. I could just see Yugi as a little Dog jumping for the treats watching them with his big chibi eyes and trying to get them however he could. Marik was funny.
This kiss was sweet.

I can see why this would be a hard couple to make. but you seemed to takle it just fine.
I laughed out loud when Yugi brought out the puppy eyes the first time he asked for some candy and Marik was trying to resist it.
But on another note, please dont give up with Do You Dream Of Me: Dulest, I loved the first and also the continuation that you made. But it just feels like forever since you updated that story. Sorry for sounding so nagy about it though, but you left it at a cliffy, and i can never get enough of the YamixYugi fluff.
Anyway good job.

I loved this story... When Marik first entered the store and saw Yugi I wondered what would happen. As I read how Yugi wanted no demanded the chocolate well I nearly fell off my chair in laughter... Thanks for writing this... Great Job.
