Lovely peak into Inara's spirituality. I love that scene with her and Book in TTJ. Isn't this such a great show where one little line opens so many windows into these wonderful characters?

tahts real... sweet =P I liked this little blurb, and I DO belive (although I am an agnostic) that you may have gotten the ritual as it were correct, if not, it sounds pretty damn truthful =) I can see this as a bounus scene in the Train Job, and I just LOVE fluffyness between Mal and Inara =) keep up the good work

While I have no idea what a buddhist prayer would entail, I thought that it was great! I especially loved the last line, and how you started the story with the quote from the train job. (I love that quote, by the way.)
