I normally do not review many stories... but yours was really something else. It was original and well thought out and I just loved the ending, how everything did not end up all peaches and roses, but a compromise was made. Most of the stories here either have Harry becoming some all powerful god like wizard or Severus becoming so nice that he is out of character. Good job!

I can't believe Snape dragged Harry into the depths of the water. It was just like his dream... Nice job. ^^ I liked the little funny moments that you wrote. I sort of have the feeling that the ending was too sudden.

Wow, that was powerful stuff! I liked the plot a lot (see how that rhymes lol), it was truly original. When I was little my mother used to read stories about the Nix, (it's quite a big thing in here scandinavia) so that made it even more interesting of a theme for me.
You write very well -which is very important to me. Even though I am not a native in english I find it extremely painful to read stories I could've written better myself.
Oh gosh, I'm still sniffing in here.. I cried like a baby reading the last chapter. I liked the fact that it didn't end quite happily, I'm so into angst and drama you see.

I absolutely love your story, although I wish I didn't have to search other sites for your cut out parts. Considering most stories on this site include sex scenes idk why your worried so much.

after the last chapter i was kinda scared for a second there
then i had to wait FOREVER till i could read the epilogue because my computer crashed
so im thinking about it and im like "OMG! Harry's dead!! Snape drowned him!"
i almost had a heart attack when my computer crashed and i couldn't read it
so i was really mad but now i read it and i loved it!

For a second there, I thought Sev drowned Harry...But he didn't YAY! Wonderful, wonderful fic.:)

I feel depressed at the ending, yet kinda happy. Does that make sense? :D I loved this fic.

You made me cry in the 20th chapter...

Though it was gradual, which was really amazing, i just kept getting sadder and sadder until i had more tears run down my face.

A fic has never done that to me before, so well done!

I am enjoying this fic so far. It sounds like it will not end happily though, which makes me kind of sad.

This is a wonderful story, though the ending disappointed me a little. It was far too short, and I was expecting something different like, Harry is forced by Ron to return to the castle with him, and he(Harry) pines away for Snape. Then just when he thinks he's going to die of heartbreak, he plays a mournful tune on the violin Snape gave to him. And Snape somehow hears the tune from underwater, though it is seemingly impossible, and answers Harry's call. Snape returns to the castle where they live "happily ever after", or at least they return to the lake together.

Still, lovely story.
