I like the idea of an artistic Kaidoh who communicates through his sketches and doesn't talk so much.
I also like how Ryoma is keeping his secret and interacts with him.
The idea of the both giving false hints to rest of the regulars seems appealing, but i'm not sure if it wouldn't be OOC.

Well, please update this story.

Really tells how apart from everything Kaidoh is, that Oishi doesn't even realize he wasn't at practice... Poor guy.

I like Kaidoh's silence throughout these chapters... The silence reinforces his loneliness, and the unusualness of Ryoma talking to him... I think he should get louder as he feels included.

I can see Kaidoh as an artist... It fits his personality. I like it. His giving Ryoma the sketchbook is really touching and sweet...

I didn't really notice the pairing hint in the river sketch... I thought of that as a cry of sorrow, almost. It shows the beauty of the world (breath taking) but no one was there to see... Or for Kaidoh to share the sight with. The bandana seems to symbolize him, and since its on the ground abandoned, shows his loneliness... And I thought the notebook was his sketchbook, and that seemed to symbolize his wish to record that moment so he could share it with others, his wish to have others to connect WITH. The sketchbook on the side of the bandana seemed to be Kaidoh showing his only way to connect to the world... But he even with that one tentative connection, he's still alone, which is why there are no people. I'm sure you didn't put anywhere near this much thought into the symbolism of it all, but these are just what I grasped upon reading the picture (That sounds weird, but how else could I put it?) and the best I could do at putting most of what that short description of the picture told me, now that I look back on it. As I said "A picture conveys a thousand words, and somehow those described pictures are doing the same job as their real counterparts, telling so much more than you actually write."


Evidence collection idea! (And a way too elaborate one, at that)
Kaidoh leaves another picture at Ryoma's locker, before practice. Senpai-tachi notice. Thinking to get their hands on that picture, Momo and Kikumaru should distract Ryoma, ie: drag him off around the school during/after tennis practice. Well they are doing that, Fuji should go through Ryoma's stuff (meaning just to get that picture) but sees the sketch-book. Takes it and goes off and gets photo copies of useful pictures (but not all, or even as many as he wants, since he knows Momo and Eiji can't keep Ryoma away forever), and then replaces the book in Ryoma's bag, right before Ryoma comes back from finally succeeding in shaking Momo and Eiji off. Why does he just take photo copies, and not just take the book? Khel logic: There are a lot of drawings of his family, and that helps a little too much. Fuji logic: "If I don't return the book, it will be too obvious that it was taken, and I wont be able to use that tactic again." ...Though it would amuse me out of all proportion if Kaidoh saw Fuji stealing the sketch book or returning it, and Fuji told him not to say anything...

I could see Ryoma and Kaidoh making a game of this, having Kaidoh leave pictures that are "useful" for the investigation, but throw everyone completely off track, and Ryoma giving out vague (wrong or easily interpreted wrong) hints and his typical dead-paned lies ("The artist spends all practice sitting in a tree that overlooks the court and draws pictures of them all," for example. That one has the added benefit of Eiji jumping around and glancing nervously at the trees all day looking for the stalker.)

Well written! This is a great read! I love how you are writing everyone's characters, and you write amazing descriptions! I know it's been two years, but please continue this!

Poor Kaidoh... I actually understand that feeling. I felt like that through most of junior high and the beginning of high school... ( By the end of high school, I still felt like that at school, but I had friends outside of it.) Ryoma, please continue to draw him into the group!

Yay! Kaidoh did add himself! ...You know, I was starting to want to hit Ryoma for being oblivious after the only person whose picture he didn't mention (other than Fuji, who already denied ownership) was Kaidoh... Except then he figured it out, and now I just want to hit the rest of the regulars for being oblivious. I really like how he acted and what he said when he returned Kaidoh's book.

Hello, I absolutely love this story but i was wondering if you were ever going to update this story. I love the fact that kaidoh doesn't speak and communiates through drawings, it fits so well with his personality. I do believe that he would find it easier to talk this way. Keep up the good work.

I really love this! Are you ever going to finish it? I even kinda like how Kaidoh doesn't talk...It just adds more to the story and it shows how good of a writer you are to be able to show a main character without them even having to say anything. I like the idea of Kaidoh being an artist, too...He seems like the type :)

I like this story...but I think Echizen should be a bit more arrogant towards the other senpais... And its kind of interesting to see his soft side (both characters)

Pls update son! At first, i thought it was weird when i saw this story with pairing of kaidoh and ryoma. That was such a rare pairing, that's what i thought at first.
BUt now that i have read it, wow! I love this story! =) So, i will be waiting for your next chapter! good luck!
