Beautiful. I can definitely see Kakuzu doing something like this. I love how you explore all the different sides of these two guys, and yet manage to keep them so in character.

Short, but very powerful. I enjoyed reading it. I was looking for something different when I put in Kakuzu in my search engine but now I'm very glad I found this. I'll have to check on some of your other stuff.

I've read this story for a while. As in over and over and over and over again. But I haven't reviewed because each time I finish, there's this question I've been meaning to ask and (the usual) I forget. And I finally remembered this time! *rejoices* Was Kakuzu the girl's "daddy?"

Wow, I know, really dumb dense of me to ask that, but really, the story wasn't from Kakuzu's point of view, right? So it could have been...xD Sorry! You're stories and writing are just THAT good.

Another part to Kakuzu, neh? *sniffles* It's so sweet! I like the girl: "the perfect stereotype of childish innocence." Really, being able to portray Kakuzu like this with such reason takes -skill-.

I'm repeatedly saying that because I just read a god-awful fic tat literally went: "Lookie me, I is Kakuzu; I'm feeling bored so I'll be nice for once in my life. Hey! Nice=touchy-feely! Yay." It was TRAUMATIZING. TToTT

Well, I'm sure you get tired of hearing the same shit from me, but I honestly have to say, you are amazing. People usually write grit for this pair. You know,the real dark, detailed violence... you put a sort of shine on them that gives them something of a soft side, and I love it.
I adore that it was Kakuzu; violent, cold Kakuzu; that you have interacting with the girl. Also, and I'm not sure why, Hidan stepping on the dude's fingers really stood out to me. In a good way, obviously.
Over all, like in the 'Annual Occurance' fic, I see a sort of elegance that is missing from a lot of fics with this group. I genuinely appreciate that, and I hope you write more for them.
