Great story!

Hi just found this story.

This was lovely! It was such a treat to see Severus be pampered for once. And the idea of using veritaserum to make him vulnerable was clever and well executed. I liked the little tidbit from his school days. It added depth.

I have to admit I DIDN'T like the overtones of slashy-ness between him and Dumbledore. Not that you didn't write it well. You did. I just have a different take on Snape and Dumbledore's relationship. I think there's still Dumbledore's manipulation to be accounted for. If you'd done a little slashy-ness with Lupin I'd ahve been on board (Lupin is young and cute; Dumbledore makes me think of grandpa, lol). On the other hand the hint of intimacy between Snape and Dumbledore was quite unexpected for me so kudos on being original.

Overall, well done. I really enjoyed this and I'm putting it in my excellence file.

This story was so sad and heartbreaking! Moody was sick and cruel. The ending though was rather sweet, a father and son type relationship. Great work on the emotions as always!

my favorite line here is "you're enjoying yourself." I love the fact that SS knows this and it's true.

Once again you are riding the friendship-slash line...although I think this one is closer to the latter given the bathing scene. Your introduction of lupin is, I suppose, designed to steer us back towards friendship...

I like your matter of fact telling - you don't over detail anything, but then you'll go into details like effects of veritaserum in the context of your story which are interesting.

That bathing scene of yours makes me wish I could include something like that in my adss fic - too bad it doesn't work - otherwise i'd steal it...i love it that much

Beautiful, simply beautiful... Dumledore is like a father Sev never truly have. I like this. I like it too when they are pair, but there is just something in this story that makes it even better this way.

I do like this story. Snape-angst leading into something so much warmer. And Lupin's in it, too! Bonus points! ;-)
