Dialogue Punctuation:

In a sentance with quotation marks, you use a comma instead of a period, like this:

"I think I know you," Eragon whispered.

Or

Eragon whispered, "I think I know you."

or even

"I think," Eragon began, "I know you."

Yeaah, I'm a little confusing, but that's what the Dialogue Punctuation stuffs is for stories.
