Great story. I really enjoy your work. The Harry/Hermione parts are very well done. I'm a fan of that pairing as well. I don't hate Ron, but I can hardly think of a fanfic where he is presented as an interesting and intriguing character.

I also enjoyed the demonstration in the last third. The gender transformation (nod to Ranma 1/2?) was very funny, and I also liked the other examples. People hardly come up with original ideas anymore (which is no surprise considering the number of HP stories in existence), but you present it in a kinda refreshing way.

I'd like to say, "Nice to see you writting agian." but seeing as how you repeatedly stated you wrote this some years ago I'll suspend my disbelief and go right back to waiting in vain for a Fame update.

That said, I found a few things odd about this story. The first and most noticible is the cannon issues, but that could be readily explained by when you wrote this perticular story, so I won't give you any grief for this.

Second is the whole gender-bending thing it's not so much an unwelcome thing as to being completely out of nowhere, it seems you superimposed that for your work in Ranma fanfiction (along with a few other character quirks upon Harry).

Ok the weather mage thing came out of nowhere akin to the gender-bending thing and I'm left slightly stumped as to how this fits into cannon Harry Potter, if at all.

Next I'd point like to point out that the whole inflating Harry's aunt like a ballon was a magical mishap and extremely rare (both in form and application). So I must tell you that I feel that your really stretching what is believable in Harry's world when you have Hermione have the EXACT SAME effect after years of learning to control her power. It might have been a bit more believible had Hermione worked out how to do it via magic or even been thinking about the incident at the time.

Finally I can't help but wonder what ever happened to Voldemort and his snarling band of sycophants? For being the near entire focus of the Harry Potter series up to the GoF, I've heard not a peep of him in the entire story and feel at a near total loss as to why.

That said I do hope you continue to update, reguardless of any negativity I've shown above.

You know... I never really think it would be possible. I mean, I've thought about it but I never really considered it with any real amount of conviction. But what if people like Krista Perry, you, Nicholas Leifker and Fire were to start writing again?

I knew Ive arrived a bit too late. When I really got my bearing on Ranma fandom, the Great Ones (Which is what I used to call you guys) are already gone... leaving behind a hallmark of great literatures.

That was really excellent. A bit AU now, showing its age, but still quite nice. Like others have said, H/Hr matchups aren't very prevalent, especially good ones, and this one is very good.

Good story! I hope Ms. Rowlings is kind enough to allow Harry and Hermione as happy an ending, even if it isn't with each other.

I liked Harry's magical talents; a good selection of powers to be sure. I can't help but think how much Ranma must have influenced these choices. The tornadoes so similar to Ranma's Hiryu Shoten Ha, and, of course, the gender transformation. (Bet Hermione has fun with the that transformation... I wonder if Harry's tutoring her on that transformation as well? :)).

It sounds as if you haven't truly started writing again, just posted something that has already been written. Nevertheless, your reappearance has sparked my hope that you'll be returning to writing. You have so many wonderful stories clamoring to be finished I can't pick one above the others! I just hope (and request) you'll now be writing again. I admit the first thing I did after reading this story was to check your homepage to see if there'd been an update.
