*lol* The last line was a killer and totally David! So sweet to see him actually comforting poor Archie; then again, not so surprising at all. Even if he considers himself to be the lab rats' self-proclaimed leader, he *is* rather protective about them, never mind how callous and snarky he may act. Wonderful story and well-written; it's almost asking for a sequel/epilogue.
