Wow...this is so awesome. Your writing is great, envoking great emotion. I worked hard to keep myself from bawling to death these past few chapters. I love this fic and cannot wait for the sequel!! Please have lots of inspiration and time!! ^0^

I'm quite honesty speechless, man this really needs a sequel.

This is a pretty powerful story. I think I should thank you for writing it, and taking the time to think it through. I like your writing style, and I thought that you did a good job of portraying Tifa's emotions. I cried at the end. I could feel Tifa's heartbreak at her complete loss of everything that she ever loved. It was too sad, and I wondered how she could go on. I also wondered if Tifa was Cloud's manifestation of light, like the children were hers. If that's true does that mean she's dead too?

As for criticism. I noticed a few spelling errors in each chapter, but nothing too serious. They were the kind of errors spell-check wouldn't notice such as "bowel" instead of "bowl". Also, this is just a personal preference but I really wanted to see more of a connection between Cloud and Tifa. It didn't have to even be romance, but more interaction that would connect them to each other as friends and show that they cared about each other.

honestly, you did an amazing did, the fights and scenes flowed perfectly and the emotions were portrayed flawlessly. everyone was in character and everything. you created a perfect ending, i cant wait for the sequel

I suggest naming the sequel Rise. It's another song by Yoko Kanno, and I think it kind of fits.

This chapter was completely heart-wrenching. I seriously almost cried reading this. In fact, if I hadn't been in a public place while reading this, I probably would have.

I can't help but somewhat hate Cloud for not being there for Tifa and the kids. IMO, Tifa should at least hold some kind of grudge against him. Or at least, I don't know, not make him out like he was some kind of victim. Though, I wonder, does he know the kids are gone? And how did HE escape the destruction of the world? And, for that matter, how did Tifa? Shouldn't she be dead like the kids?

Hope to see these questions and more answered in the sequel!

It was very well done. The action was fast paced and you conveyed everything perfectly. It's exactly how Tifa would think and react in the situation. If you had described the boss, it would have not been in Tifa's PoV. It would have been out of character for if you were in a situation like hers, would you have time to describe the mantis? I think not. So nicely done.

I knew it, I knew the kids weren't going to make it. But that doesn't make this chapter any less sad. :'(

The desperation and frantic-actions of the characters in the chapter are definetely very clearly emphasized. The breaks in the character's dialogues were done perfectly, too. Nice work.

I just wonder how Tifa's going to move on NOW. Cloud's abandonded her, some of her friends have died, and now the kids are gone, I don't see ANYONE would be able to move on, let alone Tifa who thought the world of the kids. Unless, there's some hope of bringing them back...or perhaps revenge...

Anyway, the fight scenes were impressive, if a little confusing and hectic at times. Still loved it though.
