Loved everything about this story. Light read, believable, nice characterization, good writing, great interaction, and a lot more stuff I could name if I had the time to type them all.

I'm not horribly familiar with Smallville, but I really enjoyed your version of Lex and the relationship between him and Clark. I also really enjoyed the Robert perspective. It's always so interesting to see how someone other than the mail characters is looking at events. I really enjoyed his a lot.

That was great. A serious fic all around, without being overly so. The humourous ending really topped it off. Excellent job!

This is a wonderful universe you've pulled together. I'm with you - I think this is an amazing Lex, characterized so rarely but so well done here! And I think it's an interesting idea to take the story from Robert's perspective, as it gives your audience just enough information from the start, then turns it all on its head. The idea that Lex might be playing a part, and secretly Superman's lover, is a good one. You write it very well, letting Lex have both his good moments and the ones where he shows his fangs. I loved the observation that Lex's honest side might be immature for lack of use. I hope that you are inspired to continue writing stories of this kind.

This chapter was just as good as the last. I love the references to your other stories and the continuancy that it adds. I also like how you wrote this one from Mr Hawkins' perspective. That gives the story a unique twist as well as adds humor. Poor man, walking in on his son and Richie like that. :) I have always liked him as a character and you are really letting him have his moment to shine here. "An urban version of Jonothan Kent", indeed. On the the next chapter!

I have long been a fan of your writing, especially your 'Static Shock' pieces. This one keeps up the high standards of excellence that I have come to expect from one of you stories. I do hope that you will continue this, for I do believe that Mr Hawkins is in for a big surprise. Thanks for posting it on FF, where I hae a chance to read it.
