Wow. This is one of the best fics I've ever read, and ?I've got to have read at least a thousand by now. Loved the realistic portrayal of all the ups and downs of their life, and the supporting cast were excellent. Amazing job!

This is a WONDERFUL story. I just read it (5/15-20/09) and I must commend you on it. It seems very well researched vis-a-vis John's disabilities. It characeterization is great. A couple of small grammatical errors--nothing to stop me in my tracks.

I was strolling through Wraithbait when I found another story by you which I enjoyed, and decided to check out this site in case you'd written others, when I stumbled back onto this story which is one of my all-time favorites, and more importantly one that I've been wishing to reread but couldn't because I couldn't remember the author or the title.

What I enjoyed the most about this story was the entirely too human element, and the voice it gives to our wounded soldiers. I have friends who have gone through something similar, and try though I might I could not grasp the compexity of what they had to deal with, but after reading this story I was able to truly understand, and then assist them with the dignity they deserved. Probably the best thing I can say, and that I can't wait to read this again.

Tonight though, I've got to go find your latest story so I can review it! :)

this chapter made me cry cause it reminded me of when my mom was taken to rehab for paraplegia. things now that are everyday life seemed so strange and extreme. it really does change everything to the point that it is just life. thank you for how you wrote this.

Wow... this story made me cry. When Rodney left in anger for 4 days, it was so heart wrenching. You really wrote it so well, it was amazing!

OMG dude this story was amazing! You captured the characters so well and you did such an amazing job of conveying the reality of such a tragic accident, you didnt just cover it all up with fluffly nonexistence perfection, you should it for the hard situation it is.

Do you think was maybe a little to perfect? By the time I got to the end of the story I was hoping for a twist ending where Rodney took off to Mexico with Princeton dude. The only fight in this story and you somehow wrote it as John`s fault, and John is the one who had to try to climb stairs for forgiveness. I love how sweet this story was and I am amazed at your political and medical knowledge of things from over 10 years ago, but Rodney was still just to much of a perfect boyfriend and it just took me out of the story by the end.

This story was very well done. I love AUs and have an absolute passion for disability stories. This was well written and well thought out and I *loved* the characters.
