Cool story. I admit I am curious about the path Bernard is now walking. It is nice to see he has a softer side.

Just one minor suggestion: There are a few spelling and grammatical errors here and there. Reading over the fic normally helps to catch those. They are really quite minor, but it's just a small thing that can really make a fic great.

It's a good start. I'm interested to see where you go with this--it's nice to see someone write a story from the POV of the bad guys, for once :)
