No! Is the last chapter what I think it is? Good writing and great dramatic effect minimalist style. But the Jiraiya Naruto mentor relationship is one of my favorite relationships! No!

Hm a have a small idea of what happened in the last chapter, but it's written to vaguely for me to determine anything definite. Needless to say I don't fully understand it but I can understand the tone. This got a point across well. I think you might have been too vague in certain areas at an attempt at minimalizm(is that a word?) but still a good story overall.

Somehow I thought of Naruto ripping Sasuke's eyes out and saying something like "He's useless to you now," to Orochimaru.

So, I guess from that we can gather that Sasuke is dead. Either way, without his eyes, he's of no use to Orochimaru so even if Naruto didn't kill him, Orochi-yarou probably did. And whether he directly killed him or not, Naruto would be responsible for his death, the death of his honorary brother. So the fire was extinguished. I liked it.

o_O Oh, I liked that. It was short and dark. I think this could work as is, as microfiction, or as a multy chapter story. ^u^ I would read it if you turned this in to a multy part story.
