that was beautiful

It took me a second to get oriented and realize whose perspective I was reading in each one, but then it was fantastic. There's no other word for it. You've even managed to illustrate several storylines that I usually like to pretend don't exist...and make me appreciate them. I cannot possibly choose my favorite; they all have something going for them so I'll comment on each.

1. Wonderful tone, bittersweet but optimistic, and nice idea to use the theme of Izzie's speech as a framework for her drabble.

2. Love the detail about the faint scents of smoke and blood, and how it's better to wake up to him than tequila, "and because he walked away."

3. I'm glad you chose George's POV here. The way you described her as 'the guy's girl,' along with the other reasons he loves her, is the first thing that's ever made me see this couple in a positive light.

4. Okay, just for the comparisons to Arthur and Lancelot, this one's my favorite.

5. Nailed Cristina's on-edge babbling, with a perfect exchange at the end.

6. Love the details about needing better conditioner, her brittle hair. Very touching and heartbreaking depiction of his attachment to her.

This was beautiful. I love all of the different perspectives-it tied up the episode so well. I especially loved the Richard and Ellis bit (I'm still broken-hearted over Ellis' death).
