I've reviewed to this story once before, but I've never had the chance to review again. I'm so sorry. I'm still reading though! I haven't been able to catch up with this story since you've recently been updating. So today, I re-read the story and I have to say, this. story. rocks! Seriously, I love it!

Every chapter is so well written.

The flashback for this chapter was fantastic and I liked how you fit in the line "So the penguins at school don’t make fun of you . . . ." That was perfect :)

I'm so glad you updated. I love this story so much, it's one of my favorites, so I hope you can update again soon.

Really good chapter. I think maybe you went a bit overboard with detail, but also that it was necessary. And I totally get the cliche, brother/sister couple thing. Everyone who meets my brother and me always assumes. It's so annoying, but does happen. This chapter was worth the wait. UPDATE SOON!

Nice update, I'm glad that Casey is starting to act less reserved around Derek. Their one on one scenes together have a precarious balance of banter and tension going on. I look forward to finding out what happened in New York.

Good chapter. Want more. Totally agree on the mistaken relationship thing. When my bro (real blood related bro) used to hang out sometimes people would ask if he was my boyfriend and I'd always go "Ew! No, he's my baby brother". He's six years younger. We once joked about getting him a t-shirt to wear when we were out that said "I'm her brother, not her boyfriend." :)

That was long, but fantastic. It was just really, really great. Getting inside Casey's head is CRAZY - but it does help. Now, of course, I want to know more, want to see more, all of that. I need to go back and re-read previous chapters; I can't remember how much of Derek's feelings we've seen. Ahh, I love both of them! Casey really annoys me sometimes, but in this story she's grown up and much easier to deal with. (Oh - yeah, I like you characterization. Heh.)

And the girl thinking they were a couple I totally understood; my best guy friend and I get mistaken for a couple all the time.

Well, good luck with the next chapter! I liked this one a lot, but not much happened beside inner dialogue-ish stuff - and that only makes me that much more eager to read more! Looking forward to the next update. _

Love the new chapter and the scene between Derek and Casey by the lockers...hot. It was nice to get some more background on what happened between them although there is obviously still a lot left to tell. I'm glad that Kendra will be out of the picture for awhile as Derek and Casey are forced to work together. I eagerly await the next update.

I ADORE this fic. The number of reviews really dosen't reflect the quality of the story. It's so well written and developed and I love all the subtlety and hints of something more. Also, GREAT chemistry between Casey and Derek, especially in the flash backs. I really just love all the characters. I'm glad you decided to keep writing and I can't wait to see what else happened that summer :)
