I can't tell, is Yumi supposed to be Desire, or his/her son?

It took me until abut the end of the story to catch the crossover, and then it all clicked. I was expecting something like Dream or Death to have been the cross, but using Desire was a stroke of genius. *applauds* Very well done.

Finally! someone who agrees whith me! XD when I first saw Yumichika it was "OMG they stole him from Gaiman" but then I saw him in the anime and wuz like "am I on crack?"

Actually, if you look closely, Yumichika's eyes are purple.

Though I've never read The Sandman you've gotten me somewhat interested in looking it up, which is what I did.
And now for some reason I can easily see Yumichika as that character Desire, which is all thanks to how wrote the story, I can't even see a trace of OOC anywhere which is probably what made it so convincing.
