Breathtaking. Very in-character, and gut-twistingly real. Very strong use of the flashbacks to Teleria's lecturing, and nice descriptive details.

Yes, this is lovely. Very well written, and you've chosen a good moment to focus on. I first read the chronicles in 1971, and I'm afraid it took me a few decades to realize what was at stake in that scene with Dorath. No wonder Eilonwy feels like scrubbing her skin, even though the wolves arrived at a fortuitous moment.

I can be a harsh taskmaster, but I just had to say - this is beautifully written. Lovely use of language, and very much in character. I do hope we see more from you!
