The relationship and misunderstanding of Darry and Ponyboy, the unexpected maturity of Two-bit, the bond that grew between Ponyboy and Steve, the thought of Soda not being there with them... Everything is so realistic, it brought tears to my eyes. I'm so glad I found this. Definitly one of the best story I've read. Well done.

It was like having the gang back, which I always wished SE would do. THANKS for this story. Thanks for loving the characters so much...though losing Soda was pretty awful. I am floored by what you've done here, and I don't know how to say it in words big enough.

The characters are highly realistic and I love the ending. My review does not do it justice. I am going to urge all my friends to read this story, its that good. Please write more Outsiders fanfiction, I loved it.

It was like you channeled S.E. Hinton with this. The tone, the style, the characters' voices. Child, you have a GIFT. Sincerely. I can hardly even find the words to say. "The Outsiders" has been a love since forever (before we even had the five-pound cell phones, I think), re-read until it was practically memorized, treasured and KNOWN. I'd forgotten, until today, how much it meant to me. And this fic brought it all back so completely. You had me crying, more than once, and I know I'll be reading this again over the weekend, when I am a little more awake and can savor it. I'm blown away. Adding you to my author's list now...I don't want to miss whatever you write next.

Hiton ended /started the outsiders I noticed he was speaking in past tense alot and this clears it up.I would love to see more work from you.You have great charcteraztion skills so please write more soon pretty please?
Purified Darkness 2007-08-29 ch 12,	abuseThis is my favorite post- The Outsiders fic. Normally I pass over ones of grown up Pony or I don't make is past the first chapter. This one, I just couldn't stop. Very well written, I even cried here and there. I love it.

MBP 2007-08-07 ch 8,	abuseOk, I'm reading my way through this whole story, and I don't understand why it doesn't have a ton more reviews. It's honestly one of the best I've ever read. I just loved this chapter, too, so I figured I'd stop and tell you that on my way through. I love these characters, and I love how believable you've made them... that's an awful lot of love, I guess, but it's the most accurate word to use.

XD I'm a CherryxPonyboy person too, but Cherry's marriage made more sense. :) Tell you the truth, I was confused in the story because Two-Bit's wife had the same name as Cherry (Sherri with an I, btw. :P) but other than that...

According to your numbers, he would have died at 22, but they mention his age in the book somewhere...Ponyboy mentioned how even though his dad was 40 (estimate, b/c I don't have the book with me >.

Laughing 2007-03-16 ch 12,	abuseSo...wow. I wouldn't be surprised if you turned out to be Hinton herself. This was exceptional, and pretty much perfect. I loved the over all plot. May I say 'La Cosa Nostra'? The details, too, like how Two Bit's daughter was choosing between orange, cherry, and lemon (or something like that), and ended up with grape. That's exactly like kids are, and it was so subtly realistic. The relationship between Ponyboy and Darry was great, too. It was like they were walking on glass with each other, and were so tentative to let each other know how they really felt...it was realistic to how people really are. Alright, so that was the raw, detail-less version of the review that I could've given, but I'm not setting out to write another novel. I'd love to see some more Outsiders fanfics from you, because you're incredibly talented. Jessica

LupinandHarry 2007-03-04 ch 12,	abuseI Loved this story!! its one of the best fics ive read that have the outsiders when they are older and getting married etc. Two-bit is so..mature it surprised me, but I still loved him. Darry, he didnt change..I wouldnt want him to. Great story!
