-okay now of course the final goes against my plea, but in origin I wanted to say: 'YES please' let John sit them down and tell their version, because 'a phone call' was so enjoyable to read. just love the 'language' used, especial for Dean, plus one could picture the scenes & John's reactions. kudos (I know not really a review, sorry)

That was amazing. I loved the little pre series references that John made while listening in. You did a great job on making non-action actiony. Loved it.

And now we know why John quit checking his voice messages. XD

That was really amazing! I loved it, the perspective that he COULDN'T talk back, that he just had to listen. I... really liked that, and could relax. Usually, the relationship between the boys and their dad is so tense that I get tense too, but this? Awesome and relaxing.

Oh my goodness! That was amazing. :) I totally love this idea of John saving a bunch of super long messages to his phone. I also totally appreciate seeing a possibility for why John never answered his phone. It's nice to think he just waited for the messages to listen in and see why he was so needed. (Also, I'm glad you gave him an excuse for why he never called back after "Faith".)

The first message had me laughing SO hard. lol I think it was my favorite.

The one where Dean fell was written really well too.

The chapter of seventeen messages was really interesting, because it was nice to see a bunch of clips that time instead of a long scene. It was a nice change from the other chapters, though I liked both styles.

I kept wanting to hug John throughout this fic. Poor guy. I like him a lot of the time, and hate him other times, but in this fic I loved him. lol I thought you handled his pov very well, and I adored reading his view on this all.

Also, I love the idea of Sammy finding those messages saved on his phone later. :)

Aw, that was fantastic. The ending killed me... that's just amazing, what a brilliant fic. I love how John was so worried/exasperated/amused by them and yet he still never picked up the phone. very in character. :)
