spinstitcher 2009-08-15 . chapter 6Aw, that was fantastic. The ending killed me... that's just amazing, what a brilliant fic. I love how John was so worried/exasperated/amused by them and yet he still never picked up the phone. very in character. :) |
Webster 2009-08-11 . chapter 6Brilliant, just brilliant. Hilariously funny without being absurd, poignant without being maudlin. |
Momy2ElmoFriend2 2009-01-27 . chapter 6Wow, definately crying at the end, knew dad was gone but still, that was a heart breaker, loved all the other chapters. You did good job, excellent story. |
Sophie 2009-01-15 . chapter 6 Wow great story, I loved it so much, and wow now I got so sad that I remembered that John is dead :( Kind of hoped that he will speak with his sons, with dean about the strigha and all :( |
Darthnikki 2008-12-09 . chapter 6This was fantastic and very touching to see the side of John that we never got to see. Its obvious to a blind man how much John loved his boys, was he right in the way he raised them? well thats a catch 22 question. Without being raised the way they were they wouldn't be the strong and capable caring men they are today, so how would they have been ? would they have cared about others lives as much as they do?
Now personally I love John for all his faults he was at the end of the day a man who loved his boys but lost part of his soul when he lost his wife. I mean can you imagine loving someone that completely that when they dided it felt like you had to? It doesn't bear thinking about really. Anyway after my long ramble lol I just wanted to say great job I loved it, it was funny, touching and heart felt x well done |
SimplyOut 2008-12-05 . chapter 6I LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED this story :D:D WOW! It was really good and funny and sweet and... I CAN'T STOP TYPING IN CAPS! lol!

tylee17 2008-12-02 . chapter 6don't know how you managed it, but this was a great melange of hilarious and heartbreaking.
very fun to read. very sweet. and yeah, John Winchester... awesome guy somehow. sucked as a dad, and yet he didn't. sacrificed his life in the end after all.
besides, it's Jeffrey Dean Morgan we're talking about, so... (:
anyways. loved this, thanks for sharing (I know, standard sentence, but I mean it nonetheless) |
tylee17 2008-12-02 . chapter 5I thought that Bobby message was just bril. and then you wrote this here:
"This message was still three days before now but maybe if he just drove fast enough, he’d arrive in the past."
you seem to have such a great way with words, and I don't remember under whose favorites I found your story listed, but I'm thanking them, for it's just the kind of nice distraction I needed on this friggin' day (: |
tylee17 2008-12-02 . chapter 4well, might be too late for that now... but I try my best. lol. so, any chance we get that damn world to not stop on us?
oh, and btw: hilarious, this. and bitter sweet, too. "You suck." Damn, I know where poor Sammy's coming from. glad at least one bro is acutally mouthing it for once.
right, and "Amazingly Long John Winchester answerphone"--aside from having me nearly pass out laughing: would also make a great title to this story (: |
tylee17 2008-12-02 . chapter 3“I didn’t exactly fly down from where you left me, Sammy.”
lol. oh man, this is awesome. turns me right into someone writing friggin' senseless "reviews"--babbling, more like (: |
 tylee17 2008-12-02 . chapter 2"You know what he’s like."
... you had me. right there.
I mean, highly unlikely, all this, those long recordings, coz, seriously, what kind of cell has that capacity (yeah, well, I do live sorta in the backwoods... lol).
but right there, you had me. (:
loving your li'l story here. off reading more now |
