a perfect fic! funny and sweet but so very true to the amazing movie. i love these two characters together and u captured them perfectly, loved the ending.

I really really liked the ending.

You know, I enjoyed this movie very much. Maybe even to the point where I can say that I love it. That love made me purchase the DVD and watch it whenever I feel my minds needs refreshing. It's funny how there is something new I discover each time.

Nice short story. Its seems as if it could have actually taken place while he was captive in the village and gives very subtle hints that this is, in essence, a Japanese story. The ideal that is discussed appeals to the overall message within the Last Samurai.

I loved it. You described both of them perfectly, and the situation as well. It would've fit perfectly into the movie, I could practically see the scene in my eyes

A truly beautiful piece of text. You've really captured the beauty and spirit of the movie, and what the samurai should for. I really love Katsumoto's theory on life and how their an equal purity in living and dieing, because both are part of eachother.
