| YellowPrimrose 2007-04-30 ch 9, | abuseThis ending was so sweet! It was a refreshing change from all the danger and tension in the previous chapters and a lovely way to end the story. And I personally found it soothing given how much Jack and Audrey have suffered through (and are still suffering) on the show. Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher and their faithful Piper were adorable! The tranquil English countryside was the perfect setting for their new life- I can't imagine a more different place from Los Angeles with its crowds, pollution, and never-ending terrorist attacks. I only wish that Jack and Audrey really could have such a fresh start on the show. Or failing that, I'll take Jack as my butler, waiting on me hand and foot. Tony and Michelle as the sleep-deprived parents of Jack Bauer Almeida were also great. I'm glad that they kept in touch with Jack and Audrey. With Graem and Phillip dead and Henderson neutralized, Tony's dream was the nail in the coffin for the S5 conspiracy, just in case Charles Logan has ideas! Excellent job on this story! I loved the action, mystery, and romance. I'll keep my fingers crossed that Jack and Audrey can similarly find some happiness and peace by the end of this season. |

Cute name for the kid, wonder where they came up with that?! And I loved the ending - It lightened the mood from the whole seriousness for Audrey's search for Jack (which I'm glad she did btw, as now I have a good fic to re-read on numerous occasions!!) I'm pleased to see that Jack and Audrey found their 'happily ever after'. They certainly deserve it. And I liked that Jack could still work in intelligence at a job he loves; I always hated the idea of him wasting his life slaving away doing unsatisfying manual labour. As for Tony's season 5 nightmare, I've seen it before in another story, and I liked it as much in that story as in yours. I was amused at how you portrayed Tony as highly emotional and protective while semi-conscious. As for little Jack, it seems that he's as much as a handful as his namesake. Natalie |

The ending( the Tony/Michelle part) didn't agree with the rest of the story, and it seems like you put it there just to write off S5 Ep1. Perhaps if there were some sort of an emotional conversation between Jack and Tony, that probably would've been better. |
