How cute!! I loved the discussion between them. You somehow managed to capture and tie up a few loose ends from the show. Derek has definitely been insecure from time to time (like when he was supposed to operate on the twins). This could have been a deleted scene!

AriaAdagio, oh, how I wish you were one of the writers on "Grey's." This is the stuff that I wish they would show us on-screen. This is the meat of it, the HEART of it. It's so nice to read about Meredith and Derek acting like a real couple and exchanging meaningful talks with one another once in a while (because we all know they like to keep it all inside most of the time). You captured their voices so well and I applaud you on the great work.

It's times when I read a fic as good as yours that I say to myself ..."Why can't THEY write the actual show??"

Honestly, I love your writing. It's true to the characters, and fluffy in an awesome way that doesn't make your eyes roll. Great job...I'd love it if you wrote more of these!
