I really love this fic - don't know why I didn't review it before. Maybe because I read it on AI first.

Your story is perfection. I was surfing Amorous Intent and found it. Out of all the G/E pairings, yours is probably one of the most realistic. I can see and hear the two characters meshing like this. As others have mentioned, you take the smut to a higher and more refined level. Beauteous! I wish I could bring the G/E love in a similar manner.

I like to think well of Joe because Alex obviously loved him, but I admit there's a lot we don't know. (As seasons Six and Seven showed us all too well.) I liked their banter in this story, and how he pledges his devotion to her. (The parts mentioning Ross were a hoot!)

I keep rereading this because it's just *perfect*. It hits all the right notes: beautifully written, great character insight, dialogue that flows well, just the right amount of pathos, sexy as hell. Nicely done.

Wow. I'd always assumed Joe was a jackass (made a fact after we learned that he gave Alex a tazer one year for their anniversary - what kind of idiot does that, anyway?).

That was amazing and very beautiful. In my last review I must have been tired because I said something about first person... I meant present tense. Normally I don't like present tense, but it worked so well in this story. Beautiful job.

There were so many moments and all together it was so fantastic. It was extremely moving, but also hot.

And this line... I have to compliment this line because I love it so. "The question is typical Goren. One part stutter, two parts swagger." LOL. So true. Bobby to a T.

Okay. I'm not gonna lie. I was so hoping a new chapter of "Fallout" would be the next update. But, one can hardly consider this "settling." Your imagery is so powerful in this second chapter that I really can't even pinpoint which mental picture was most vivid. Everytime I thought I had read the line that would be my favorite you went further and there was another. The third person point of view was also incredible in this story. While I am a fan of everything you have written to date I can honestly say that your writing seems more confident and sure of itself now, and that is something special. Great job. Also, I think your loyal readers can forgive you for having a social life and taking exams. Life happens. Keep up the good work.

I love the way you describe things. (and I'm not just talkin' bout the smut). Loved Bobby's slip of the tongue and Alex's reaction, and the Joe angle that I so wasn't expecting.
