This was an amaizing, sad, incredible story. Why is it that the good ones get no reviews? I loved your portrayal of all the characters, and the quotes, full of hope and misery. I find it so odd that your story has only 16 reviews, so this is my remedy to that.

How have you only received 14 reviews for this?! It's amazing...seriously one of the best Buffy fanfics I've ever read. The angst at the beginning is very well drawn and shattering and then there is the world of yay at the end. Fabulous job!

Seriously. Angel fans need to pull their socks up if tehy can't review ripping fic like this.

Wonderful in all it's angsty aspects, and Wesley / Cordelia characterisation is *fantastic*. But Spike... Poor Spike.. But still, always been a B/A fan. Very very cool fic. I only wish I had the wil to review all the chapters; but I'd probably get so caught up I wouldn't be able to press the review button.

That was supremely beautiful and amazing, especially the earlier chapters describing the breakdown after Buffy's death. And you still managed to have a happy ending! Loved it much more than the actual post-Gift canon.

M... my favorite Grey's author has an Angel/Buffy fic. I about died when I saw it. I can't believe you only have ten reviews on this sucker.

This is so many shades of awesome that I don't even know where to start.

The writing is exquisite and your style is unique. It's like a stream of consciousness... but not... I can't think of how to describe it, but I enjoyed it immensely. Your character portrayal is spot on with everybody, most notably Spike and Wesley. You really made this feel like an extension of the series rather than a separate entity (although I guess eventually I'll have to remind myself that this doesn't ACTUALLY happen.)

I also loved your use of quotes from the show. It really fit in with everything and added to the "realism" (e.g. made it melt into the series) somehow. The plot line, too, was a stroke of brilliance, and had the multifaceted na-na-na-na-na-na-you'll-never-guess quality that made the Buffyverse to endlessly fascinating.

Hmm... what else? Oh. The characterization of their relationships was a-to-the-mazing as well. Spike and Angel's relationship was especially grin-worthy, as they don't really delve TOO far into it in canon, but you added another dimension that makes it believable and more interesting. The Buffy and Angel relationship was perfect-- I always thought that his reaction to her death should have been more earth shattering, and you portrayed it perfectly.

I laughed, I cried... more or less, anyways. This was perhaps the only long story I've EVER had the patience to read through, and now I'm very tempted to go back and reread. All in all, this was great. Thanks so much for posting it!

I first read this story when it was originally published all those years ago. It was a favorite then, it continues to be a favorite now. I would urge anyone reading this review to read the original NC-17 version at Dianne's home page. The Spike/Angel scene is especially amazing and it beautifully explores Spike's bond and love of Angel, even if he won't outwardly admit to it. I laos love how you took the Mohra demons threat and turned it into something original and exciting.
