Thats so sad! By the time I finished it I was almost crying. I can understand how they feel. The sadness at least. I don't have a twin.

Tragic... But, very well-written. I think it's close enough to cannon, and the characters don't seem off at all.

Awe, you got to feel a little sorry for the twins. Even their own mom has trouble telling them apart.

This story really struck a chord with me that had me bawling like an idiot. It really is a beautiful story and I love the emotion you put into it, I could feel the hurt and confusion that Hikaru felt at his own mother not being able to tell the difference. thank you for this... FAVE ^-^

When I was younger, I used to wish I had a twin to do the exact thing the Hitachiin twins do - play pranks on people.

But when you really think about it - which, I admit, I never did until watching Ouran - some things really AREN'T all fun and games.

Again, beautifully desperate and fearful. Hikaru; I pity him sometimes but I pity Koaru more. Because I get the feeling that we only see the barest hint of the burden he has to really bear in Cannon. And that's just sad.

I don't want Haruhi to take Hikaru away because Kaoru, as much as he might want Hikaru to be happy, need Hikaru to lean on...or he might buckle. And that's heartbreaking.

i sometimes wonder if identical twins ever wonder if they had the right name...

Nice job, kind of sad. And I'm with you, as much as I love the twins...I imagin their home life must be rather bad. All they really have is eachother since I imagin their mother wasn't ever at home much...or their father. They sound a lot like their mother though (I read a chapter where she's with them and meets Haruhi) but in the end...she still doesn't know her sons very well. Poor Kaoru and Hikaru...
