What is it with people only reading The Great Gatsby because they had to in English. It makes me feel weird cause I didn't. Not meaning anything bad to you, of course. I thought it was a good ending. Better than some I've read.

You killed "The Great Gatsby!" The whole point of the story is to show how shallow the rich are especily Daisy. She would never have gone back to Gatsby, she treated him like crap and he let her. F. Scott Fitzgerald is rolling in his grave.

Yay! Daisy died! I hate the character...such an airhead. I'm currently reading this for English class, I actually like it. So you were forced into writing this? Not bad, I like it. Don't worry, no one could do it as good as Fitzgerald. For fanfiction, its good.

(Too lazy to sign in) We read the Great Gatsby in English too. I liked it, though the first few chapters made me want to slam the book shut and walk away.. I like your ending to the book, almost more than I like the actual ending to it. Our teacher didnt have us write an alternate ending, but if she had, I don't think any of us could have come up with this. Great job, sorry for the long (probably boring) rant of a review, but I thought I'd leave one.

I have to agree that I prefer F. Scott Fitzgerald's ending - he was a genius when it came to writing. I like your use of irony, but the POV got sorta messed up. Overall decent job.
