I really liked how you managed to keep the anonymity of the character so well. I'm curious, however, who ~you~ were writing this as when you wrote it. I can see almost all of the "left behind" children thinking something along these lines at one point or another, and you're right, many people ~don't~ take advantage of the several months (years?) that Tai is gone, and it's really a shame because so much could be done with it. This was great.

I believe that this POV is Yamato or Sora because of the feelings involved. I lean more to Yamato because why would Sora want to get away from her digimon partner.
