I really liked how you managed to keep the anonymity of the character so well. I'm curious, however, who you were writing this as when you wrote it. I can see almost all of the "left behind" children thinking something along these lines at one point or another, and you're right, many people don't take advantage of the several months (years?) that Tai is gone, and it's really a shame because so much could be done with it. This was great.

I believe that this POV is Yamato or Sora because of the feelings involved. I lean more to Yamato because why would Sora want to get away from her digimon partner.
