I adore the sweet nature to this story. You've done a wonderful job creating a bond of friendship and compassion among two fellow shinobi. There is no push to make things more before it should be, and each is allowed to develop on their own accord. It makes it all the more precious that each is somewhat shy when it comes to relationships to begin with, but they are braver when in each other's presence.

There is wonderful interpretation of Hinata and Shikamaru's characters. The tale continues to give a warm feeling within the reader, despite the sadness that does surround them.

Thank you for the update to this story. I found it warm and touching. I like the pace of it; it gives me a sense of that they are 'growing' closer and not hitting it like rabits before any foundation can be started. would you consider continueing this story? Or perhaps starting a sequel of some kind, using Shikamaru at his A rank mission while Hinata focuses in on her actions/feeling/Naruto?

I'm so glad you've updated this story. I love the subtle interactions between Hinata and Shikamaru though its mostly sleeping together.

I think you need a chapter with some tension before you close this story out. It could be a time skip after Kurenai gives birth when Hinata and Shikamaru are no longer helping her out and both are busy with missions.
